Description

This service belt is surplus of the Army of the Czech Republic. These are mostly dated around the 1980's and is constructed from sturdy leather with a steel buckle. The design is influenced by German service belts from the WW2 era. An embossed star emblem is a prominent feature on the buckle. There are some scuffs and scratches on the buckle, although it adds to the genuine and vintage feel of the belt. It's a nice piece for a collection and a bold look around the waist.

Features:

  • Genuine Czech Army surplus
  • Double prong fastening
  • Solid steel buckle
  • Embossed star emblem
  • Leather belt
  • 4.5cm belt width

Sizing:
The stated lengths of the belts are the maximum size. Each belt is a bit random with how far down it can adjust but at minimum approx 13cm smaller. If you are near the max size, we would recommend going up a size. For more information, check out our sizing guide.

Excellent value, shipping so fast it'll make your head spin

I don't know how these guys got this belt to me in the southern US from New Zealand in something like 3 business days, but it's the best experience I've had with shipping in months.

The belt is an uncommon model and is perfectly usable- sizing is right, typical tough Warsaw Pact construction- although there are mildew stains on the leather from long-term storage. This is the kind of thing you have to expect from 60-year old military surplus, though, and it should come out with some care. I'm excited to buy from this store again.

Superb belt, buckle may require tinkering

I got mine and was disappointed at first since the buckle teeth would just slip out of the holes when the hinged metal bit was between the outer belt and inner adjustable layer; and I couldn't get the hinged part on the outside because the two layers of belt wouldn't fit through. Eventually though I used pliers to straighten the hinged part and pushed the hook down a little with a hammer, and now it works very well. I assume the metal just got a bit bent out of shape through use or something. Anyway, nice and robust and the star is way cool.
