The fur ear flaps will keep your ears warm while the silky 100% polyester lining keeps your head both cosy and toasty. A soviet union badge featuring the hammer and sickle sits at the front of this fantastic shapka.

Well made despite not being surplus, and the fur doesn't get all over the place like I expected which is good. It is a big hat compared to my ushanka's. I have a 57cm size head but I bought the large size 59-60, and it was still a bit tight but it stretched out nicely.
