Description

New Zealand's oldschool Proper Winter pant, the ''first winterweight pattern''.

With a bit of help from those tea obsessed folks across the water (UK), NZ forces adopted these trousers for colder climates in the 80's. Many feature the same fabric as ye olde Pattern 68 British Army uniform and some feature the unique colouration of New Zealand's first DPM attempts (those weird blue-greens...). So a combination of these fabrics leads to yet another large variation in shades. These trousers have a liner built in (see last photo) - a little extra layer helps in winter right?

Eventually New Zealand became strong [tiny] and independent [island nation trying it's best], developed better means to manufacture and trial uniforms, thus moved on from these. But we have a small stash, ready for your collection or winter wardrobe.
