Description
New Zealand Army DPM camouflage web set. Similar in design to the British PLCE webbing, the pouches and comforter are threaded through with a belt to secure them in place. This particular one uses what looks to be a custom made web belt.
This is one of the early private purchase models before they became standard issue, seeing use in East Timor during the late 90's. This rig came from a rifleman and is set up with 5 identical pouches and a field dressing pouch. Front two likely for magazines (hold 4 each), second 2 hold canteens, and the rear has a British mess kit (dated 1991).
