Description

This tactical folding shovel is another great addition to our shovels and tools range. The folding shovel design is a great improvement over standard shovels, offering a more compact way of transporting this useful tool. An extra attachment of a folding pick head can be folded or extended separately to the shovel head.

This folding shovel measures 62cm fully extended, 45cm when folded. Its smaller design makes it handy for transportation via vehicles or backpacks. Gardeners will find good use out of this piece of equipment, as its head is perfect for digging plant sized holes, and the pick attachment is great for breaking down hard dirt. Take one camping or store it in your vehicle.

  • Folding pick and shovel head
  • Wooden handle

Unfortunate design

The head on this tool is well designed but is let down by the handle, it's a very light wood (pine or similar) and on first use using the pick section mine snapped off at the tool end/handle connection snapping through the retaining pin after 3 light taps at a piece of clay. It was cheaper to simply repair by attaching a steel pipe handle than to return for warranty so I did that.
Tool head is great but you wanna replace that handle or heavily reinforce with a metal tube or sleeve before use!
