Description
East Germany adopted this flag in 1959 until its ending in 1990 with the fall of the Berlin wall. It is the same as the Weimar Republic (or modern Germany's) flag except it sports a hammer and compass to signify its communist ties. These would be a great addition for any Cold War collections.
The flag has a white strip on the side with two metal eyelets.
