Description

*Note*  The back image shows a bayonet frog which is not included in our latest batch. Some sets show ''field modifications'' - see last image for an example. These sets may require some reconfiguration of straps/pouches to sit correctly.

While our latest batch aren't the best we've seen, they still have some grunt left. The system features a variety of gear attached to a center yoke with a belt. Store a good amount of equipment in the DPM utility pouches provided and hunters and airsofters can utilize the handy twin mag pouches. All of this gear can be moved around the system, to allow for a setup that suits the user and modified with additional pouches if you have them.

Issues to be aware of

Some wear, including a half worn through and badly restitiched lid closing strap, and needs a wash , but second hand so what do you expect.
My belt is the metal buckled one, which is far from " quick release" requiring a bit of fiddling to get undone, if you have a choice I would avoid the metal one.
The belt looks pretty much brand new and is extremely stiff and VERY difficult to adjust requiring the use of not one , but two , flat bladed implements to adjust, this is not something you will be doing in the field!
More of an issue with this belt is the fact that unlike the belt pictured the pockets are not full width but in two smaller rows. This means that they are too short to allow the T bar to fit properly, which prevents the securing straps from meeting the velcro or being able to get the snaps done up. Also means the components sitvery high on the belt. Either this belt was made for a system with shorter TBars or was made by someone who didn't understand the system in use. Either Either. I've used a scalpel to cut the base of th pocket to fit the Tbar all the way in which seems OK but will need to sort out the fraying from the cut.
Just also bear in mind if you are smaller there isn't as much room to fit pouches etc as the overlap on the belt adjustment gets in the way at the front.
Other than the issues with the belt pockets and the fact a wash before sale would have been appreciated, if only for biosecurity reasons, happy with the quality of what is, after all, second hand used equipment. Tough as old boots and still plenty of life in it.
There is a downloadable pdf online with instructions on how to put it all together

Not As Good As The Photos

Was honestly in worse condition than depicted. There is still quality in this product, (the material is still usable and tough) but the pouches are obviously worn. Some of the smaller straps are very worn and the colour is nothing like the photos. Very faded and used.

Perfect for collecters

Great for the use I need it for my collection only a bit of damage to the belt and a bit of wear in some of the packs but that's what i was expecting for collecting overall though great and shipped fast.

good webbing system

A great choice for anyone who is just wanting something reliable and tough. The universal mag pouches fit almost everything, and the utility pouches have great storage capabilities. There is a LOT of use in the gear though, which can be a turn off for some people. It is also very tedious and difficult to put together and with little information online on how to set it up properly, I would only suggest to people who are a little more familiar with webbing systems. Besides that, a very good webbing system

Good value way to get the basic elements

PLCE is much better designed than many other types of webbing. The quality of construction is also much better. The set I received was a mix of well used and new items. The well used stuff still had plenty of wear left. If you look at the typical prices of the components this is excellent value.
