Although the 'flash-bang' goes back further than the GWOT (Global War On Terror) with mostly special forces, it has worked its way into all facets of modern militaries. These pouches are what was made to carry flashbangs over the transitional period of 3 colour desert over to UCP uniforms. You can often still find khaki pouches still in use with Multicam in the US military where there are shortages.
A single row of MOLLE backing allows these to be attached to almost anywhere on your tactical gear. Front, rear or sides of plate carriers or second line belts or anywhere on a pack or drop leg platform. A simple (and secure) quick release clip keeps your loud little friend safe in transit. The strap is also adjustable so you can store other items in these other than a flashbang such as cell phones, GPS units, multitools or small radio units.
