Description
The 'ASV Vorwärts' (Army Sports Association Forward) was a sport organization of the East German National Peoples Army. The organization was founded in the 1950's and became a staple of the nations sports elites. These jackets are a reproduction of what East German athletes would be working out in from the time behind the iron curtain. After the fall of the Berlin wall and the reunification of Germany, this uniform became very popular with West German teens.
The striking red & yellow stripes and the ASV logo are likely to turn some heads in your gym! The dark chocolate brown paired with the large stretchy collar also scream a 1970's vibe (hope you have a meaty slug mo to match). A full length zip runs up the front and a stretchy waist & cuffs makes these pretty cozy.
