Description

The Osprey water bottle is a classic among military canteens. This has been standard issue for the British Army for many years. It has a 1litre capacity and is made from strong, durable plastic. The lid is permanently attached and is fitted with a rubber seal.

Fitting perfectly on the bottle is a cup with fold-out metal handles. The cup holds approximately 500ml. To carry your bottle and cup in is a genuine issue British DPM canteen pouch as used with the 95 webbing sets.

British Army Canteen

Good quality British army surplus, got mine from ArmyandOutdoors down in Christchurch. it had a second hand Grade 2 items which i got this from for $10 using as a collection piece with my other 1 quart canteen and yugoslav drink bottle on display. this item features a plastic cup and drink bottle. the only downside I would say to this design is you cant exactly boil water as the disconnecting cup is plastic, other than that pretty good, cheers

The best canteen you can get.

This is hands down the best canteen I have ever used. Well built and great design, you can defiantly tell that osprey put some effort into ergonomics. The integrated cup is a feature that, at first, I thought would be a gimmick but actually has come in handy more times than I can recall. If you are looking for a great canteen then look no further.
