Description

Fight the rain and cold with some military surplus from the British Army. This cap is fleece lined for warmth with a waterproof MVP (Moisture Vapour Permeable) membrane - the British equivalent of Gore-Tex. The flaps can be fastened around the chin or on top of the head. Ideal for keeping your ears warm and your head dry.

Internally, the hat features a soft fleece lining which covers the ears, creating a second layer of insulation underneath the fold-down ear flaps. This fleece layer is also elasticated at the back for a comfortable fit which retains more heat. On the back, a hook & loop strap allows the fit to be adjusted further. Perfect for hunting and hiking in the colder months.

Features:

  • Genuine British Army surplus
  • Waterproof MVP membrane
  • Soft fleece lining
  • Adjustable strap at the back
  • Foldable ear flaps with hook & loop fastening
  • Elasticated chin strap with toggle
  • Wired peak for retaining the shape

Sizing: Hat sizes are measured by the circumference around your head, just above the ears. For more information on hat sizes, check out our sizing guide

So good I bought a spare

Bought one, used it for a few days, decided it was good enough I needed a spare one. Blocks the wind, keeps the warmth in, two levels of earflappery incredibly functional. Not necessarily fashionable, but functional as anything

This is a great hat. its warm, its comfortable, and its British! i have one issue however. the cap is much shorter that the photo makes it out to be. but as long as you aren't using it as a sunhat in summer ( its not the right hat for that anyway) i would wholeheartedly recommend

The greatest beanie ever made

I purchased one of these cold weather caps just as winter started. It is excellent at keeping your ears, head and neck warm (I like to combine it with a lightweight headover). The peak is what gives it another advantage over a beanie, turning it into a hat too, which is good for me being outside all the time. The only disadvantage is that the elastic cord and MASSIVE pull tab do look a bit silly. But hey, it's not a fassion statement.. I'm trying to keep warm!
