Description
A few banana offerings and some sacrilegious rain dances to appease the forgotten East German Gotts of rain camo and lo! DDR strichtarn madness at Army and Outdoors continues, with these mad little hoods from East Germany.
They somewhat fit over East German helmets (see last picture, helmet not included) and create a mullet out the back, keeping sun off your nape and concealing it with rain camo. The elasticated front and back seams hug onto skulls pretty well too. Drawstrings to the sides cinch in for a more custom fit. Under the hood is a pale grey snipers veil (or mosquito net?) that rolls up and fastens away for storage when not needed. There aren't any buttons or button holes for fastening to jackets on the hood but you could tuck in the mullet for a pretty seamless strichtarn ensemble, providing you have picked up the rest of the uniform. Gettem while we got em!
