Description

The original Individual First Aid Kit (IFAK) pouches first saw issue during the Vietnam war. Issued initially to Marines and later the Army, the pouch was designed to carry a IFAK plastic box containing medical supplies. These post-war pouches (and the plastic boxes that aren't included) are taller than the Vietnam war originals.

The pouch can be easily opened or closed with sturdy dual snap domes. It can be attached to any ALICE system with dual ALICE clips (some may show a bit of corrosion) on the back. A robust pouch design that has continued to be produced over decades, grab one to store your IFAK in or use it as general utility pouch.

Features:

  • Genuine US Army surplus
  • Designed to carry IFAK (pouch only, IFAK & box not included)
  • 2 x ALICE clips
  • Dome opening
  • Tough nylon construction

Amazing IFAK

Super impressed with the one I received, even came in the original packaging which I did not expect. Snap buttons are very firm and the pouch itself has no defects. The one I got is dated 2004 and was a bit bigger than expected. Good purchase!
