Description
The US military has utilized bandoleer's for well over a century. The primary purpose of a bandoleer is to provide magazines quickly and in a relatively inexpensive or disposable fashion. This bandoleer in particular was designed during the Vietnam war to carry a 100 round belt for the M60 - from factory they would come with an internal cardboard box to help maintain shape for the belt (no box included). Made from thin cotton material these may not last forever but are extremely lightweight. It comes with a simple over the shoulder sling which troops would often use a single safety pin to adjust the length to fit better (pin not included). Alternatively you can tie a knot in the sling to shorten it in the field.
If your doing a Vietnam war impression for a collection, re-enactment or airsoft kit then these are the ticket. For transporting ammo belts you cannot go past these for price!
