Description
Sierra Leone adopted their current flag in 1961, at the same time of gaining independence from Britain. The green represents the country's natural resources, the white stands for unity and justice. The blue represents the natural harbour of the capital Freetown.
The flag has a white strip on the side with two metal eyelets.
