Description
Guyana adopted their current national flag in 1966 when they gained independence from the United Kingdom. The red triangle stands for zeal and dynamism, gold for mineral wealth, black for endurance, white for rivers and water and green for agriculture.
The flag has a white strip on the side with two metal eyelets.
