Description
Note* Majority of these have a full length side zipper but the odd one mixed in only has zips up to halfway. These will be picked at random
These are what the British Army often term 'softies' - or what the official label calls them; 'thermal trousers, reversible.' Basically if you are a heading somewhere cold (Scotland for example, or way worse - Norway) these are intended for a mid layer. They are very roomy and internally lined with puffy polyester that is designed to trap in the warmth your body is generating. Needless to say, you will need a hard shell layer over the top of these to stop wind chill from ruining your softies & bodies natural hard work!
The features are very simple - elasticated waist with dual buttons to secure them firmly to your waist. An open fly so you don't have to struggle with multiple outer layers to reach 'the goods' underneath when nature calls. Side zippers allow for quick donning (or removal) which is handy incase you decided to take a dive in icy waters and like living! And another pretty neat feature is these are reversible because yes, believe it or not - the desert does get very cold at night so the British Army have kindly made both sides different colours for desert & woodland environments (pockets on both sides too!).
All in all, a really cozy & very roomy mid layer for serious Winter missions be it camping, hunting, battlefield or a bit of airsoft!
